Design and illustration for a readers magazine. It was featured in the Ilene Strizver's fantastic typografphy book Type Rules!: The Designer’s Guide to Professional Typography, as example of contoured text:
«The contoured text on the right strikingly mirrors the shape of the cornered bug on the lefts. Shifting baselines and erratic breaks in the title further reflect the bizarre, fantastic turn of events in this famous short story by Frank Kafka in which a man wakes up as a bug (or cockroach).»
As a wink, all composition is made by using Erick Spiekermann's Meta typeface family.
